GREENAIDERS has been a pioneer in organising 'Low Carbon Footprint ' races since 2011 with MatheRUN at hill station Matheran in 2011, Runners For Rivers (2015), Runners For Mangroves (2017) & Runners for Oceans (2019).

The 5th edition of Runners For Mangroves 10K Run is scheduled on the 2nd Feb 2025 to coincide with World Wetlands Day ( 2nd Feb) at the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary ( TCFC) Airoli, Navi Mumbai. TCFC has been officially given the status of a 'Ramsar Site' by the International Wetlands Convention.

A Ramsar site is a wetland site designated to be of international importance under the Ramsar Convention, also known as 'The Convention on Wetlands', an intergovernmental environment treaty established in 1971 by UNESCO. This makes TCFS 1st site in Mumbai,3rd in Maharashtra, 75th in India & 2,490th Ramsar wetland site in the world.

The entry fee includes the following :-
